Job summary

Infasco Nut, a Mississauga automotive supplier of engineered fasteners, is looking for a Shipper/Receiver. The role involves participating in the smooth running of the department, operating a forklift and reach truck for picking, and helping verify orders and prevent backlogs.

The position requires a high school diploma, a licensed forklift operator with reach truck abilities, and at least 1 year of experience in shipping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma recommended.
• Licensed Forklift operator with abilities to run a Reach Truck.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Experience in shipping (asset).
• Experience in order picking in a warehouse (asset).
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of lifting 35-40 pounds boxes, required.
• Computer skills needed.
• Be meticulous, have a great capacity of concentration, be very organized to do the follow-ups and have a good memory.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the smooth running of the department's activities.
• Operate the Forklift and run a Reach truck for picking.
• Participate in the verification of orders and follow up on all potential backlogs.
• Follow up with other departments to ensure that there are no delays with customer deliveries.
• Performs various related tasks related to the department.
