Job summary

Fuze HR Solutions is recruiting for a Shipper & Receiver/Forklift role in Milton, ON. The incumbent will handle material movement, packaging and related tasks, operating Crown Double Deep Reach and counterbalance forklifts as required.

Key duties include equipment inspections, safety compliance, inventory maintenance and accurate paperwork for shipments. Strong teamwork and communication are essential, with a baseline of 1 year forklift experience and ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year current forklift experience.
• Experience driving Crown & Double Deep Reach equipment.
• Knowledge of Automated Shipping Systems / RF Technology.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre-shift inspections of lifting equipment and report hazards.
• Follow health, safety and food safety procedures.
• Ensure PPE is worn while working.
• Operate warehouse material handling equipment safely.
• Load/unload containers or trucks and move products by hand or with counterbalance or Crown Reach forklift.
• Move product onto/off moving trucks and complete relevant paperwork.
• Maintain stock and storage areas; identify, label and track inventory.
• Locate materials by pulling and verifying against production orders.
• Communicate shipment discrepancies to Supply Chain and Production.
• Sort, pack, weigh, and count materials; ensure proper product rotation.
• Verify pallets with correct Pallet ID, Lot and Item Code; report changes.
• May perform other duties like opening containers and assisting in inventory.
• Attend Food and Health & Safety training.
