Qualifications

Job Summary:

Ainsworth is currently looking for a Shipper / Receiver / Driver for our Surrey, BC branch.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments.
  2. Safely and efficiently load and unload goods from delivery vehicles.
  3. Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse.
  4. Ensure accurate record-keeping of shipments and deliveries.
  5. Drive delivery vehicle to customer locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods.
  6. Communicate with customers regarding delivery status and address any concerns.
  7. Perform routine maintenance checks on delivery vehicle to ensure its safety and functionality.
  8. Collaborate with warehouse team to ensure smooth operations and order fulfillment.
  9. Prepare and process returns as needed.
Qualifications:
  1. Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record.
  2. At least 2 years of relevant experience.
  3. Previous experience in shipping, receiving, and delivery is preferred.
  4. Ability to lift heavy items and work in a physically demanding role.
  5. Forklift Operation Certificate is an asset.
  6. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  7. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
