Position Summary:

Ainsworth is currently looking for a Shipper / Receiver / Driver for our Surrey, BC branch.

Responsibilities:

  1. Receive incoming shipments
  2. Unpack/pack shipments and enter information into a database
  3. Respond to project managers regarding shipments
  4. Maintain and organize warehouse space
  5. Prepare materials for shipping (clean, apply stickers, repack etc., according to established guidelines)
  6. Coordinate shipments with project management groups
  7. Maintain supplies

Qualifications:

  1. 2 years of relevant experience is required
  2. Ability to communicate effectively
  3. Heavy lifting is required
  4. High school diploma or equivalent education
  5. Shipping/receiving experience and administration skills are an asset
  6. Class 5 Drivers License is required
  7. Forklift operation certificate is an asset
  8. Must work well with people in a team environment
  9. Must be self-initiated, self-motivated and organized
  10. Must have good writing, speaking, typing and time-management skills
  11. Must be able to establish priorities and handle multiple ongoing tasks without direct supervision
  12. Must be customer-service oriented and outgoing
  13. Punctuality and attendance are essential to success in this role
