Job Summary:

Ainsworth is currently looking for a Shipper / Receiver / Driver for our Vancouver, BC branch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments.
  • Safely and efficiently load and unload goods from delivery vehicles.
  • Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of shipments and deliveries.
  • Drive delivery vehicle to customer locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods.
  • Communicate with customers regarding delivery status and address any concerns.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on delivery vehicle to ensure its safety and functionality.
  • Collaborate with warehouse team to ensure smooth operations and order fulfillment.
  • Prepare and process returns as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • 2 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, and delivery is preferred.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and work in a physically demanding role.
  • Forklift Operation Certificate is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
