Job summary

Maxim Truck & Trailer in Canada is hiring a Parts Department team member for our fast-paced warehouse. You will pick, ship, and receive heavy-duty truck and trailer parts, complete paperwork, and help ensure cost control and customer satisfaction. You will also load/unload company delivery trucks and deliver to customers.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience in a related role.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Receives product, forwards emergency stock for customers, and ensures freight costs are calculated and charged to customers.
• Picks parts, consolidates orders, and packages for shipping.
• Loads and unloads couriers and delivery trucks from other branches.
• Completes accurate associated paperwork.
• Picks up and delivers parts to external customers.
• Loads trucks with specified parts.

Become a Parts department team member in our fast-paced warehouse environment. Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience, preferably in a related role
• Experience in a fast paced work environment
• Shows a learner attitude, initiative and diligence
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Ability to work outside for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds without assistance
• Basic computer experience with ability to learn in-house system
• Forklift license or ability to achieve
• Ability to be exposed to weather conditions off/on throughout the day, year-round
• Ability to climb ladders preferred
• Knowledge of Heavy-duty parts an asset
• Driver's License required
