Job summary

Bosch Truck Group Inc. in Calgary is seeking a Shipper Receiver to join our Parts Department. You will help receive, store, and ship parts, and ensure inventory records are accurate to support technicians, sales staff, and customers.

Daily duties include assisting customers, processing shipments, maintaining a clean warehouse, and learning heavy-duty truck parts terminology. Forklift operation and physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, ship, and organize parts.
• Assist customers with parts orders and provide excellent service.
• Receive products from suppliers and customers using company-provided equipment.
• Store parts in the correct warehouse locations and update inventory records to maintain accuracy.
• Prepare and process incoming and outgoing shipments, including proper labeling and documentation.
• Assist with vendor parts returns and ensuring all required paperwork is completed.
• Preparing and processing core returns, including inspecting, packaging, and completing required documentation.
• Helping with physical inventory counts and inventory control activities.
• Picking, packing, and preparing parts orders for delivery based on requests from the parts team.
• Obtaining purchase orders or approvals when required for billing purposes.
• Supporting other team members and departments as needed.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.

Position Purpose

The Shipper Receiver is a key member of the Parts Department and plays an important role in supporting customers, technicians, and sales staff. This position is responsible for ensuring parts are received accurately, stored properly, and shipped on time. By maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse, the Shipper Receiver helps keep inventory accurate, reduces delays, and ensures the right parts are available when needed.

Key Responsibilities

The Shipper Receiver is responsible for receiving, storing, shipping, and organizing parts. This includes:

• Assisting customers with parts orders and providing excellent customer service.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must:

• Have a basic understanding of warehouse and shipping/receiving operations.
• Be willing and able to learn heavy-duty truck and trailer parts and related terminology.
• Be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers, suppliers, and coworkers.
• Be able to safely operate a forklift or be willing to learn.
• Be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and move items weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Be able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.

Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are considered assets:

• Valid forklift certification.
• Experience using CDK accounting software.
• Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
• Experience communicating and working with suppliers and freight companies.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Experience using manufacturer and supplier websites for parts and order information.
