Job summary

Roofmart, Canada’s national distributor for exterior building supply, is seeking a Shipper and Receiver to join our team. You will be responsible for the safe loading, unloading, movement, shipping, and receiving of products, ensuring order accuracy and compliance with health and safety regulations.

The role requires a valid forklift license (training available), ability to lift 80-100 lbs, and previous shipping/receiving experience.

Qualifications

• Warehouse and forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, move, ship, and receive product

• Assist with metal shop operations as needed
• Comply with health and safety rules and regulations
• Perform other duties as required

Job Description

Role: Shipper and Receiver

Job Summary: Responsible for the safe loading, unloading, movement, shipping, and receiving of products. Ensures order accuracy through correct picking, tagging, and verification. Maintains compliance with all health and safety regulations and supports additional operational tasks as required.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely loading, unloading, moving, shipping, and receiving product
• Ensuring orders are picked correctly, tagged, and double checked
• Assisting as required with tapered insulation fabrication
• Assisting as required with metal shop operations
• Complying with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Valid Forklift License (training can be provided)
• Ability to lift, push and carry 80-100lbs
• Previous Shipping and Receiving Experience
• Customer service skills
• Previous Warehouse and Forklift Experience - Preferred
• Authorized to work in Canada
