  • Freshness First — every ingredient is real, crisp, and prepared from scratch
  • Integrity in Every Bite — we do what's right for our customers, our communities, and our planet
  • Speed with Soul — fast food doesn't have to be mindless; we bring real food, real fast, without compromise
  • Sustainability — eco-friendly packaging and a commitment to reducing waste
  • Affordability with Purpose — fresh food built to nourish, not overcharge
The Role

As a Shift Supervisor at Crazy Carrot, you'll run the floor, lead the team, and set the tempo for a store built on speed, freshness, and genuine care . Right from opening day at our brand-new downtown Toronto location. You'll be the calm, capable presence guests and teammates count on during the rush, moving easily between the kitchen and the counter to keep both sides of the house running smoothly. You're expected to manage your shift effectively while supporting KPIs and operational excellence. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who takes pride in running a tight, guest‑focused shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute store operations during scheduled shifts, multitasking across the kitchen (BOH) and counter / customer service (FOH) to keep the full operation running smoothly
  • Deploy team members effectively, delegate tasks, and adjust staffing in real time based on business needs and service flow
  • Deliver hands‑on customer service by anticipating guest needs, resolving concerns promptly, and modeling guest‑first behaviour for the team
  • Support food quality and consistency by ensuring recipe, presentation, and food safety standards are followed and coached in the moment
  • Monitor inventory levels, communicate shortages or concerns, and support ordering and par levels as needed
  • Enforce established cleaning, sanitation, and safety protocols throughout the store, correcting gaps as they arise
  • Provide respectful, timely coaching and feedback to team members, and support the training of new Team Members by reinforcing expectations and recognizing progress
  • Follow cash handling, safety, and security procedures to protect both team members and guests
  • Support operational excellence by utilizing tools, checklists, and processes to help achieve sales, labour, and service KPIs
  • Recognize changes in team morale or performance, and communicate observations, operational issues, and inventory needs proactively to the Store Manager

  • Proactive mindset — recognizes issues early, takes action, and keeps the manager informed
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable coaching and giving feedback to others
  • Able to stand, bend, twist, and lift for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Operational awareness, including a basic understanding of inventory, labour, food quality, and throughput
