Position Summary:

The Shift Supervisor assists management in overseeing daily activities, monitoring associate productivity, assigning responsibilities, and ensuring shift coverage. They maintain compliance with corporate standards and promote high sales and customer service performance by example. This role reports to the Store or General Manager and is non-exempt.

Essential Functions:

1. Monitor daily activities of staff, coordinate breaks, and inform management of issues
2. Complete opening, daily, and closing procedures as per policies
3. Assist in training new associates
4. Operate cash register, handle transactions, and ensure cash security
5. Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
6. Implement product rotation, order stock, and participate in inventory counts
7. Resolve customer complaints to ensure satisfaction
8. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards, including HACCP compliance
9. Monitor safety guidelines, promote safety awareness, and report concerns

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• At least 6 months supervisory or lead experience
• Ability to understand instructions, policies, and communicate effectively with customers
• Preferred experience in food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service
• Physical ability to bend, twist, stand, and lift up to 40 lbs.

Note: Frequent immersion of hands in water and chemical solutions may be required.
