Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking a Shift Registered Nurse for overnight homecare in the Greater Hamilton area. This casual role requires travel to clients' homes and offers pediatric, trach/vent, and palliative care responsibilities with no on-call rotations.

Overnight schedules run 10:00pm–6:00am or 11:00pm–7:00am, with flexibility to align with your availability. Qualified candidates have an RN, valid CNO registration, and experience in community/homecare settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN)
• Current registration in good standing with the provincial regulatory body (CNO)
• Additional certifications (e.g., Trach and Vent) are assets
• 1–2 years of recent nursing experience, preferably in a community setting
• Willingness to travel within the Hamilton/Burlington area in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric care and enteral nutrition via pump or syringe (G-tube, NJ-tube)
• Perform tracheostomy and ventilator care
• Deliver palliative and wound care and chronic disease management
• Support clients with tracheostomy/ventilator needs and diabetes care (assets)
• Document care and communicate with families and team
