Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare in Hamilton, Ontario is seeking a School Registered Practical Nurse to join our team on a casual basis. You will travel to schools and community sites delivering client-centered nursing care, with autonomy to plan and execute a holistic care approach, supported by Bayshore's training and mentorship programs.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of community nursing experience, current CNO registration, and a valid G2/G license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current registration in good standing with the provincial regulatory body (CNO).
• Additional certifications (e.g., CNA, LEAP, deSouza) are assets.
• 1–2 years of recent nursing experience, preferably in a community setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, high-quality care in clients' homes and schools.
• Act as primary care planner with autonomy and flexibility.
• Teach and delegate tasks to clients and family members while maintaining best practices.
• Engage in ongoing training and preceptorship to enhance skills.
