The role emphasizes safety, adherence to LOTO procedures, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary maintenance team.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a valid Red Seal Industrial Electrician certificate.
  • Experience with industrial electrical systems and medium-voltage safety.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Commitment to safety and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Experience in the Cement Industry or heavy industrial manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive electrical maintenance and advanced troubleshooting on complex plant equipment.
  • Inspect, test, and repair electrical systems and infrastructure to ensure maximum safety and operational efficiency.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime and restore operations.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to support and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain precise records of work performed, system modifications, and parts inventory.
Qualifications
  • Must possess a valid Red Seal Industrial Electrician certificate.
  • Deep understanding of industrial electrical systems, controls, and medium-voltage safety standards.
  • Expert ability to diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently.
  • Highly skilled in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Unwavering commitment to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and arc flash safety.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to function effectively within a multidisciplinary maintenance team.
  • Previous experience in the Cement Industry or heavy industrial manufacturing is preferred.
Conditions of Employment
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.

Work Environment

This role operates primarily in heavy industrial environments. Conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
