Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician for our Delta, BC-area operations. The role emphasizes electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, safety, and collaboration within a unionized plant environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Red Seal Industrial Electrician certificate.
• Deep understanding of industrial electrical systems, controls, and medium-voltage safety standards.
• Expert ability to diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently.
• Highly skilled in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Safety protocols: Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and arc flash safety.
• Strong communication and teamwork within a multidisciplinary maintenance team.
• Experience in cement industry or heavy industrial manufacturing preferred.

What You'll Be Doing

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.

Work Environment

• This role operates primarily in heavy industrial environments.
• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
