Job summary

The Salvation Army CRS is seeking a Direct Support Worker for Crossroads Residential Services – Warming Centre in Saskatoon. You will support adult clients experiencing homelessness, follow shelter policies, and document needs and progress to help build safe, stable routines.

You will assist with meals, cleaning, intake processes, and coordination with the Housing Services Manager. The role involves de-escalation, confidentiality, and respectful interaction with clients under demanding

Qualifications

• Completion of high school is required.
• 2-year post-secondary diploma in Social Service Work or Mental Health & Addictions is a strong asset.
• Narcan/Naloxone training or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to clients.
• Follow program policies and procedures.
• Document requirements and reports as needed.
• Assist with meal prep, clean-up and serving.
• Assist with cleaning spaces and snow removal when needed.
• Participate in scheduled training and staff orientation.
