Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a detail-oriented finance student to assist with quarterly and annual financial reports and investor relations publications. You will help ensure accuracy, formatting, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.

The role emphasizes Excel proficiency, data analysis, and a proactive mindset toward process improvements in a fast-paced quarter-end environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergrad Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Review and format reports for publication on the Investor Relations site.
• Support report improvements, translations, and AODA compliance for online documents.
• Coordinate with external vendors or departments for printing, formatting, and regulatory submissions.
• Maintain financial data with rounding consistency and cross-report validation.
• Review documents for spelling, grammar, and formatting errors.
• Update spreadsheets and Word documents using Excel and Word, including macros where applicable.
• Support adherence to regulatory and reporting deadlines during quarter-end periods.
• Organize files, track timelines, and assist with supplemental regulatory disclosures.
• Work primarily with the Manager and Senior Analyst and collaborate with other team members during quarter-end.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields
• Must intend to return to school at the end of the work term
• Enrolled or planning to pursue a CPA designation, or committed to pursuing a career in Finance Transformation
• Financial acumen and orientation toward curiosity, innovation, and problem-solving
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
• Understanding of financial statements, external reporting, and regulatory documents
• Experience checking documents for accuracy and consistency, including spelling and grammar
