Job summary

TD Securities is seeking an undergraduate student to support its Strategy team by gathering, developing, and tracking data and inputs for Monthly Operating Reviews, Quarterly Business Updates, and Strategic Business Plans.

You will perform research for team presentations, obtain market share data from Bloomberg, and assist in preparing PowerPoint slides, while identifying efficiencies in the team’s workflow.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce or related field, with the intent of going back to school at the end of the work term
• Enrolled or planning to pursue a CPA designation OR committed to pursuing a career in Finance Transformation
• Financial acumen with curiosity, innovation, and problem-solving orientation
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
• Detail-oriented, quick to apply new concepts, and high standards for quality and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at various levels of seniority
• Ability to build effective and collaborative working relationships with cross-functional teams and business partners
• Ability to operate as a working lead on assigned initiatives
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
• Proactive and highly motivated, taking initiative
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proven ability to use Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
• Must reside in Canada, the country where the role is located
