Job summary

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce or related field
  • Intent to return to school at the end of the work term
  • Enrolled or planning to pursue a CPA designation, or committed to a career in Finance Transformation
  • Financial acumen and orientation toward curiosity, innovation, and problem-solving
  • Proficiency in Excel, data analysis tools, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
  • Detailed-oriented and quick to apply new concepts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at various seniority levels
  • Ability to build effective collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and business partners
  • Ability to operate as a working lead on assigned initiatives
  • High standards for quality and accuracy
  • Ability to manage deadlines and multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
  • Proactive, highly motivated, and able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Employees must reside in Canada, where the role is located

Responsibilities

  • Execute the Global Compensation monthly and quarterly financial reporting process for FY2026
  • Identify efficiencies and automation in Global Compensation financial reporting processes
  • Update Global Compensation standard operating procedures and other documentation
  • Support financial reporting, analysis, planning, forecasting, and performance management for employee benefit and compensation programs
  • Contribute to governance, internal controls, documentation, and audit-ready evidence across monthly and quarterly Finance processes
  • Identify opportunities to improve templates, documentation, automation, and process efficiency while maintaining data integrity and control effectiveness
  • Work with experienced colleagues and participate in the TD student community
  • Attend leadership talks, Lunch and Learns, training, and networking activities
