Job Title: ServiceNow Security Consultant

Job Description: The Security Senior Technical Consultant has extensive knowledge and experience in designing and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow Platform. Senior Technical Consultant defines, develops, tests, analyzes, and maintains software applications in support of the achievement of the business requirements. The role demands strong analytical skills and high research, design, documentation, and software modification capabilities throughout the production life cycle. Technical Consultant Seniors also proactively provide mentoring, support, and guidance to the Junior Developers and perform with a high level of autonomy. Due to their outstanding skill set and high level of decision‑making, Senior Developers usually act as a Project Team Lead.

Responsibilities

• Manage all important project processes such as platform architecture documentation, integration documentation, work‑effort estimation, and hands‑on advanced development.
• Assist in leading Requirements workshops and design discussions for Security & Risk projects, consulting on both ServiceNow and Security & Risk best practices.
• Attend, participate, and occasionally lead Scrum meetings.
• Translate requirements/stories and mock‑ups into fully functional features by working closely with the implementation project team.
• Fulfill Project’s technical development and configuration at the highest standard of technical quality, contributing with assignments, follow up and guidance to Junior / Mid developers.
• Fulfill technical design guidance within our projects following ServiceNow best practices.
• Ensure Project Lead receives timely updates on assigned tasks to facilitate frequent and proactive customer communication.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Delivery Services processes as well as the maturing of the different portfolios, capabilities, expertise, and best practices in consideration of Customer needs and requirements.
• Fill technical or process roles in our projects, if needed.
• Lead, educate, mentor and develop the Thirdera resources who are assigned to his/her projects.
• Assist in the scoping of new opportunities, design tools and techniques to deliver efficiently.
• Act as the final escalation point for technical decision‑making within a project.

Academic Background

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Information Technology, Engineering, or the Sciences
• Professional Certification
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• Certified Application Developer
• 2+ Risk and ServiceNow CIS Certifications
• Proven experience in 2 additional product lines outside of Security & Risk
• Has a high‑level of understanding in scripting and app development, including familiarity with web services, API’s and mobile application design.
