Job summary

Interac in Toronto, Ontario, is hiring a Business Systems Analyst to join the Real Time Rail payments team. You will work with stakeholders to understand problems, map current processes and translate business needs into functional requirements.

You will participate in sprint planning, define system solutions, support development, and ensure QA. Eligible candidates will have 3–4 years of BSA experience and be eligible to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years of experience working as a Business Systems Analyst
• Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity

Responsibilities

• Understand business needs by meeting with stakeholders to understand problems, objectives, and desired outcomes
• Gather and document requirements through interviews, workshops, and process reviews
• Analyze current and future state processes to identify gaps and opportunities for automation
• Define system solutions and evaluate configuration vs. new functionality
• Support development through clarifying requirements, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and demos
• Test and assure quality by developing test scenarios and supporting UAT and defect resolution
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and manage conflicting requirements and priorities
• Maintain documentation and governance artifacts
