Job summary

Rocky Mountain Equipment in Kindersley, SK, is seeking a Service Writer to help keep the service department running smoothly by coordinating work orders, liaising with customers and technicians, and ensuring accurate documentation. The role requires a high school diploma, strong computer skills, and excellent customer service.

Prior warranty administration or experience with agricultural or construction equipment is an asset, and RME offers training, benefits and retirement plans to support

Responsibilities

• Ensure all paper flow and record keeping for the service department is completed and administered properly and efficiently.
• Administer all aspects of the warranty claim flow including claim writing, warranty parts return, warranty account reconciliation, and warranty appeals.
• Keep accurate records of customer surveys.
• Work with Service Manager on day-to-day operations of the service department.
• Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety Standards—RME is committed to the protection and wellness of its employees.

Job Requirements and Qualifications Include:

• High school diploma
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and other software
• Exceptional customer service skills and communication skills
• Previous administrative experience
• Technical Knowledge of agriculture and/or construction equipment is an asset
• Previous warranty administration experience with New Holland and Case IH equipment is an asset
• Previous Service Writer experience within an agricultural, construction, automotive or other heavy equipment shop is an asset
