Job summary

Steele Auto Group in Halifax is seeking a Service Valet for Steele Hyundai to ensure a smooth experience for service customers. You will greet clients, assist with drop-offs and pickups, and support the service drive-thru to enhance the overall client experience.

The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and reliability in outdoor conditions, including snow removal. A valid driver’s license and ability to drive manual transmission vehicles are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently assist service clients when bringing their vehicles in for appointments.

• Wash clients' vehicles prior to pickup from service.
• Contribute to the store's reputation by taking ownership of new requests and adding value.

As a Service Valet with Steele Hyundai, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our service customers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your customer service expertise while contributing to our commitment to delivering exceptional service and enhancing our client’s experience.

Minimum wage range: $16.75/hr

Please note that this role is not eligible for participation in the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) due to the specific National Occupational Classifications (NOC) requirements.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Safely and efficiently assisting service clients when bringing their vehicles in for appointments
• Be a "hands on" coordinator for the service drive thru area
• Adhere to proper sanitizing guidelines of client vehicles
• Wash clients' vehicles prior to them picking them up from service
• Enhance the store's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Must be comfortable working in outdoor conditions, including performing duties such as snow removal in varying weather environments.
