Qualifications

• Experience performing equipment repairs across mechanical systems
• Ability to use diagnostic software and service tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Commitment to ongoing technical training
• Experience with John Deere or Bobcat is a plus
• Journeyperson certification in Agriculture/Heavy Equipment/Automotive is an asset

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain equipment with focus on quality workmanship
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service per manufacturer specs
• Use diagnostic tools, software, and electronic service tools to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Complete repairs accurately and document actions clearly
• Maintain current knowledge of John Deere Turf, Bobcat, and related equipment
• Participate in manufacturer and dealer-led training programs
• Collaborate with Service, Parts, and other technicians to support customers
• Develop skills toward progression on the Technician career path

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain equipment with a strong commitment to customer support and quality workmanship
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service according to manufacturer specifications
• Use diagnostic tools, software, and technology to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Complete repairs accurately and efficiently while maintaining clear service documentation
• Maintain current knowledge of John Deere Turf, Bobcat, and other equipment supported by the dealership
• Participate in manufacturer, dealer-led, and technical training programs
• Work closely with Service, Parts, and other technicians to support customers and complete work effectively
• Continue developing the technical skills and capabilities required to progress within the Technician career path

Requirements

• Experience performing equipment, automotive, heavy equipment, powersports, agricultural, construction, or related mechanical repairs
• Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and powertrain components
• Ability to use diagnostic software, electronic service tools, and basic computer functions
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and contribute within a team environment
• Commitment to professional development and ongoing technical training
• Experience with John Deere, Bobcat, turf, compact equipment, or related products is considered an asset
• Journeyperson certification in Agriculture, Heavy Equipment, Automotive, or a related trade is considered an asset
