Job summary

McDougall Energy in Teeswater is seeking an experienced Service Technician Lead Hand to join our team. This role combines hands-on technical work with crew leadership, ensuring safe, high-quality service for customers.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will conduct inspections (Oil comprehensive, propane gas checks, PFO inspections), mentor technicians, and help plan service routes. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $35.00–$37.00 with OT after 44 hours and a strong total

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of relevant experience
• OBT, PM3, LP licenses considered an asset
• Boom truck and fork-truck experience are assets

Responsibilities

• Completing regulatory inspections Oil “comprehensive” and Propane “gas check”
• Senior field technician who leads and mentors crew
• Training and coaching Service Technicians and new hires
• Reporting personnel issues to the Service Manager
• Completing TSSA Technician Audits as required
• Completing Job Observations for Service Technicians
• Adhering to safety policies and procedures

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

McDougall Energy is looking for an experienced Service Technician Lead Handto join our teamin Teeswater.

The Service Technician is an integral member of the Service team responsible for providing exceptional service with an unwavering focus on safety. Their technical skills will be a crucial part in delivering our commitment to our customers.

Reporting to the Service Manager, responsibilities include:

• Completing regulatory inspections Oil “comprehensive”, Propane “gas check”, Commercial Fuel“PFO Inspection”
• Senior field technician who combines hands on technical work with crew leadership
• Participates in training and mentoring / coaching Service Technicians and new hires
• Reporting of any personnel issues to the Service Manager
• Completion of TSSA Technician Audits as required
• Completion of Job Observations for Service Technicians
• Completing other duties as required
• Adhering to all safety policies and procedures

ABOUT YOU:

The ideal candidate will have:

• 1 to 5 years of relevant experience
• OBT, PM3, LP licenses considered an asset
• Boom truck, fork-truck experience considered an asset
• Valid Driver’s Licenses – DZ considered an asset
• Strong problem solving and customer service skills
• Solid time management and organizational skills, including the ability to effectively plan service routes and optimize efficiencies.
