We are currently recruiting for a Service Technician / Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Fredericton, NB. If you are looking for a dynamic organization, this is the opportunity for you.

The selected individual will be responsible for traveling to customer locations throughout Atlantic Canada to provide maintenance and repair services for petroleum dispensing equipment and related machinery. Strong knowledge of repairing and troubleshooting petroleum equipment, electrical expertise, and knowledge are essential. TSSA and/or CPCA certification would be an asset but is not required.

Role Responsibilities

1. Travel to customer locations throughout New Brunswick to perform maintenance and repair services on petroleum dispensing equipment, car wash systems, and related machinery. Comprehensive training will be provided.
2. Install, test, and commission petroleum equipment and EV charging stations according to regulatory requirements and manufacturer’s instructions.
3. Assess, diagnose, consult, source parts, and manage inventory effectively.
4. Coordinate with sub-contractors for additional disciplines such as electrical, excavation, concrete, and civil work.
5. Work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with other trades and customers.
6. Lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) using proper lifting techniques.
7. Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies and procedures.
8. Complete all required safety training and apply safety protocols daily.

Qualifications

• Red Seal or Journeyman Electrician certification.
• Understanding of EV charging standards and protocols such as Level 1, Level 2, and DC Fast Charging (Level 3) is an asset.
• High energy, self-motivated, with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong customer service experience.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Team player with multi-tasking ability.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract.
• Willingness to travel and work on-call and overtime as needed.
• Training will be provided.
• Bilingualism is considered an asset.
