Job summary

Enns Brothers Limited is actively seeking a Service Technician at our Winnipeg West location to diagnose, service and repair lawn and grounds care equipment, compact tractors and Gators, with a major emphasis on John Deere Golf equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years experience in equipment repair or diesel mechanic work.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, electrical and hydraulic systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to complex diagnostics and determine required adjustments.
• Prepare customer estimates.
• Carry out service and repairs as required.
• Participate in training and development.
• Prepare reports and forms related to work assignments.
• Set up and pre-delivery inspection of new equipment.

Job description

We are adding to our team of Service Technicians at our Winnipeg West location. You will be performing basic to complex diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on lawn and grounds care equipment, compact tractors and Gators. The major focus will be on John Deere Golf equipment, although employees in this position also undertake a wide variety of equipment. Duties Will Include

• Perform basic to complex electronic and computer diagnostics and determine what adjustments are needed.
• Prepare estimate quotes for customer.
• Performs all service and repairs as required.
• Participates in all job-related training and development.
• Prepares all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
• Set up and pre-delivery inspection of new equipment.

Required Skills

• Proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the repair of equipment.
• Knowledge of diesel engines and other mechanical, electrical and fluid systems.
• Excellent skills in equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
• Good customer service and interpersonal skills.

Required Experience

• High school completion or equivalent GED
• 1 - 2 years experience
• Diesel mechanic certification or equivalent hydraulic experience
• Drivers license and clear abstract
• Knowledge of the use of turf equipment
