Job summary

Atlantic Equipment Services, a division of Heritage Food Service Group of Canada, is seeking Refrigeration Journeymen to repair and maintain commercial equipment in the Greater Moncton Area. You will service display cases, walk-ins, chillers, freezers and related cooking equipment, using your industry knowledge to keep customers running.

We support training and career development; a valid Refrigeration and A/C CofQ license with additional certifications is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Refrigeration and A/C Mechanic CofQ license.
• Ozone Depleting Substances certificate required or in progress.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing commercial refrigeration and cooking equipment if possible.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair refrigeration and related equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex commercial food service equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service and timely updates to clients.
• Occasional travel to other locations or for training as needed.

A day in the life:

Our qualified Refrigeration Journeymen repair and maintain refrigeration equipment. Typical refrigeration equipment includes display cases, walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, chillers, and ice machines. If you can service hot as well as cold commercial food equipment that is a bonus! Typical cooking equipment (gas, steam, and electric) examples: dishwashing equipment, ranges, fryers, steamers, and combi-ovens and more. If you are not currently certified, we will support your future training and educational goals. Your role will use your industry knowledge to service complex equipment, while providing exceptional customer service to our customers - you get to be the HERO every day!

Please note that this is an active opening in the Greater Moncton Area that needs to be filled immediately to support our rapid growth.

What you bring:

• Valid Refrigeration and A/C Mechanic CofQ License
• Ozone Depleting Substances Certificate
• Education in appliance service, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience as a refrigeration technician.
• Experience diagnosing and trouble-shooting commercial food equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Valid driver's license with a relatively clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, accountable and self-driven.
• Must be available to work overtime and participate in the on-call rotation.
• Able to occasionally travel to work at other locations as needed, or travel for training purposes.
