Job summary

A leading company in the laundry systems sector is seeking a Service Technician to manage customer relationships and service calls. Responsibilities include evaluating equipment needs, maintaining assets, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical or appliance technology, possess excellent communication skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License and a good driving record required.
• Demonstrate technical, electrical, and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to maintain excellent customer/client experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage calls in territory to meet customer committed response times.
• Evaluate and advise of any upgrades required in laundry rooms.
• Develop and maintain rapport with Laundry Attendants and owners.

Job description

• Rotate weekend on call and after hour standby coverage
• Evaluate and advise of any upgrades required in laundry rooms
• Manage calls in territory to meet customer committed response times
• Manage and maintain Coinamatic assets and expenses i.e. : vehicle, phone / communication device, fax machine, parts, uniform etc…
• Develop and maintain a good rapport with Laundry Attendants, Owners, Environmental Managers, and other client personnel.
• Represent Coinamatic in a positive and professional manner

What we are looking for :

• Some post secondary education with a focus on appliances technician or electrical courses a plus
• Willing to train
• Valid Driver’s License and a good driving record
• Demonstrate technical, electrical, and mechanical aptitude with excellent diagnostic ability
• Solid driving knowledge of the Ottawa region
• Team player who can work with all levels of the organization i.e. sales, administration
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Able to maintain excellent customer / client experience
• Requires own basic tools.
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week with flexibility in hours; overtime available when needed, however not required.
