Job summary

The Métis Child and Family Services Authority seeks a Service Specialist to provide essential service and administrative support across MCFSA functions, including preparing reports and briefing materials and collaborating with the service team. The role requires a university degree (Social Sciences; BSW preferred), strong organizational and communication skills, and knowledge of relevant legislation.

Travel within and outside of the city is required, with a competitive SP5 salary and generous

Qualifications

• University Degree in Social Sciences, Bachelor of Social Work preferred.
• Extensive case management experience in child welfare and knowledge of AJI-CWI foundations.
• Experience drafting correspondence and preparing reports.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service and administrative support duties for MCFSA functions, including reports and briefing materials.
• Support other services and administrative staff within the service team.
• Attend cross-authority committees and internal sub-groups as required.
