Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Service Plumber to handle residential and commercial service plumbing, maintenance, and support for new construction across multi-family, commercial, and institutional projects in Edmonton, AB.

Role involves hydronic heating, HVAC controls, and reading blueprints, with on-call rotation every other week. Journeyman level and CSTS/Backflow certifications required; Class A Gasfitting is a plus; bilingual English/French a bonus.

Qualifications

• Journeyman plumber designation with ~5 years of service experience.
• Experience in both residential and commercial plumbing service and construction.
• CSTS certification and Backflow preventer certification.
• Class A Gasfitting ticket.
• Bilingual English and French.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and commercial service plumbing including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
• Respond to service calls, assess issues on site, and complete repairs to high workmanship standards.
• Support construction projects by installing plumbing systems in new builds and renovations.
• Work with hydronic heating and ventilation controls.
• On-call rotation every other week for after-hours service.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings to install and repair plumbing and mechanical systems.
