Wiehler Mechanical Ltd. in Calgary, AB is looking for an experienced Plumbing Technician to join our Service Division.

You will diagnose and repair plumbing issues, install fixtures, and perform routine maintenance in a setting that recognizes problem-solving skills. We offer a competitive wage of $36 - $48 per hour, a Monday-Friday schedule with potential on-call duties, and a benefits package that supports health, dental, retirement, and team events.

Qualifications

• Journeyman ticket or 4th year plumbing apprentice.
• At least 3 years of experience in residential plumbing service.
• Experience with Service Titan is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues in residential homes, including leaks, clogs, and water heater malfunctions.
• Install, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures such as faucets, toilets, sinks, and water heaters.
• Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues.
• Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining plumbing issues and recommending appropriate solutions.
• Work independently or with a team to complete service calls efficiently and professionally.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools and service vehicle.
• Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines while on job sites.
• Install/assess drainage systems in residential and commercial applications.

OUR IDEAL SERVICE PLUMBING TECH:

We're looking for someone who meets these qualifications:

• Journeyman Ticket or 4 th Year Plumbing Apprentice
• Minimum 3 years of experience in residential plumbing service; commercial service experience is an asset
• Tech-savvy with iPads and texting apps, experience using Service Titan is an asset
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision
• Positive attitude, excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience with boiler servicing is an asset
• Experience with renovations is an asset
• Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
• Attention to detail and a motivation to produce high-quality work
