Service Manager - Maternity Cover - 12 months

37.5 hours per week. Up to £32,000 depending on experience.

About the Role

Nexus Care, part of the National Care Group, is recruiting for a Service Manager to cover maternity leave for 12 months. We seek someone passionate about supporting colleagues and the people we support. Nexus Care specializes in working with individuals with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, and Autism, providing support across Essex in areas including Chelmsford, Southend-On-Sea, Basildon, and Castle Point. The role is expected to start around July/August.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting staff development and training delivery
• Leading the team to promote wellbeing, safety, and quality of life

About You

• Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, mental health issues, or complex behaviors across multiple sites
• Driving license and access to a vehicle
• Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent experience
• Experience in multisite management and team leadership
• Kind, friendly, and honest attitude focused on person-centered care
