Job description

Fabulous Freelance Coaches are part of a wider network of coaches and facilitators who offer their coaching services as part-time freelancers to members of the Fabulous app.

What Fabulous members have in common is their striving to improve their daily routines and habits. Each has their own unique story and growth areas, requiring our Coaches to cover a wide range of coaching topics. Whatever habit a member has chosen to work on, that is the focus of their session.

Sessions are scheduled based on a coaching subscription, offering the coach and the member the stability and depth of an ongoing coaching relationship.

All Fabulous coaches are expected to study the Fabulous curriculum. For example, you should understand the real meaning of Emotion Regulation, be able to name specific strategies, and have a solid understanding of how dopamine works beyond common misconceptions. Once this is determined, the Coaching Lead will certify you to work under a unified Fabulous Coaching Code, covering proficiency in the Fabulous app content, work tools, best practices, ethical guidelines, and ongoing learning opportunities such as webinars.

Whether a Fabulous Coach specializes in relationships, leadership, trauma, nutrition, ADHD, ACT, or other topics, they are welcome to join if they meet the qualifications, can fulfill the responsibilities listed, complete the Fab Coach Training Curriculum, and uphold Fabulous values throughout their work.

Requirements

  • Native or advanced fluency in English
  • Ability to hold 10 sessions of 30 minutes each per week
  • Knowledge of habit formation psychology
  • Ability to create stability for long-lasting coaching relationships with regular members
  • Maintain logs of each member's progress and insights after each session
  • Note recommendations for future sessions
  • Participate in providing guidance via our in-app community space: Circles
  • Complete the Fabulous Training Curriculum
  • Maintain open communication with the Coaching Lead
  • Adhere to and contribute to ethical, business, and coaching guidelines
  • Show up for clients without prejudice, within the scope of Fabulous app material

Qualifications

  • Hold a certification of a coaching or facilitation course of at least 100 hours
  • Have completed at least 100 hours of coaching practice outside of training
  • Provide testimonials or a recommendation from a mentor
  • Understand behavioral science principles and how to support habit change through small, repeated steps
