Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years Truck dealership experience.
• Strong computer skills with an emphasis on Windows-based programs and MS Excel & Word.
• Preferential Consideration for fully licensed Red Seal Mechanics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize and assign all vehicle repairs to personnel, inspecting work in progress and upon completion.
• Instruct and train employees in proper maintenance procedures, policies/procedures, and job safety.
• Report work status and special problems to the Service Manager.
• Communicate with customers, shift personnel, and coworkers to establish and maintain effective working relationships and ensure excellent Customer Service.
• Use Diagnostic Equipment to evaluate mechanical problems.
• Work alongside a technician when required to aid with problem-solving of a difficult repair.
• Other duties as assigned.
• When required the Service Foreman also performs vehicle repairs and maintenance.

Required Experience/Skillset:

• Strong computer skills with an emphasis on Windows-based programs and MS Excel & Word.
• Minimum of 3 years Truck dealership experience.
• Excellent Customer Service Skills with the ability to prioritize and focus in a fast-paced environment.
• Cooperative and team-oriented personality with a professional positive attitude.
• Experience with PACCAR Systems or Karmak is an asset.
• Preferential Consideration will be given to fully licensed Red Seal Mechanics.
• All new hires are required to present a Clean Criminal reference check and a Clean Driver’s abstract.
