Job summary

University of Toronto in Toronto, ON is seeking a Sessional Lecturer for the Spring 2027 term (Jan–Apr 2027) in Service Design. The position may be delivered online or in person, depending on circumstances, with preference for candidates who can teach across modalities.

Qualified applicants will hold an undergraduate degree in a design-related field, have at least five years of professional service design experience, and show prior teaching in this area at the post-secondary level.

Qualifications

• Required qualifications include an undergraduate degree in a design-related field, demonstrated expertise in service design, design thinking, and/or business design.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience applying service design methods in organizational or business contexts.
• Previous experience teaching service design, business design, or related coursework at the post-secondary level is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach a sessional course in Service Design with online or in-person delivery.
• Deliver course material, assessments, and feedback for the Jan–Apr 2027 term.
• Collaborate with the School of Management to align course content with program goals.
