Career Connections Canada Inc. is seeking a Service Coordinator to join our client's team in Toronto, Ontario.

You will act as the key commercial link between product lines, field service technicians/engineers, and customers during regional project orders. This role requires a customer-focused mindset, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage schedules, expediting, change orders, logistics, and financials.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Legal eligibility to work in Canada without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are currently looking for a Service Coordinator to join our client's team. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional with strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

The Service Coordinator will act as the key commercial link between product lines, field service technicians/engineers, and customers during the execution of regional project orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a customer advocate, ensuring customer needs and priorities are communicated effectively to internal operational teams.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Coordinate project orders and provide timely updates regarding schedules, expediting, change orders, logistics, and financial aspects.
  • Work closely with field service technicians, engineers, contracts teams, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Manage daily customer communications through phone and email, providing guidance, solutions, and status updates.
  • Provide proactive support for complex customer orders and projects.
  • Escalate issues appropriately to operational contacts and management when required.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including 5S and other continuous improvement activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow, department layouts, material flow, efficiency, and product quality.
  • Help reduce unnecessary material handling and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Promote Lean awareness through effective verbal and visual communication.
  • Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with applicable health and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of orders, emails, phone calls, and customer requests.
  • Strong computer skills and typing proficiency.
  • Excellent problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and prioritization skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • College or university diploma/degree.
  • 4+ years of experience in customer service or project management.
  • Knowledge of electrical power distribution equipment and control products.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, engineering, electrical, or industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement practices.
