Job summary

Wiehler Mechanical Ltd. in Calgary, AB is looking for a hard-working Service Boiler Technician to install and service residential and commercial hydronic/boiler systems, test controls, and troubleshoot complex systems on-site with a customer-centric approach.

You will maintain detailed service records and support ongoing maintenance needs. The ideal candidate has 5 years of hydronics experience, a Journeyperson Ticket or in the 4th year, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

5 years of hydronics experience in commercial, residential, or custom home settings.
4th year apprentice or Journeyperson Ticket.
Tech-friendly with iPads; Service Titan experience is an asset.
Strong troubleshooting skills and customer-facing abilities.
Clean Class 5 driver's license.

Responsibilities

Install and service residential and commercial hydronic/boiler systems and perform repairs.
Test and calibrate controls, safety devices, and system components.
Maintain compliance with codes and safety regulations.
Provide clear explanations to customers about issues and options.
Keep accurate service records of work performed and parts used.
