Wiehler Mechanical Ltd. in Calgary, AB is seeking an experienced Plumbing Technician to join our Service Division. You\'ll diagnose and repair plumbing issues, install fixtures, and perform routine maintenance in a team-focused environment where achievement and problem-solving are valued.

Qualifications

• Journeyman ticket or 4th-year plumbing apprentice required.
• Minimum 3 years of residential plumbing service experience.
• Commercial service experience is an asset.
• Tech-savvy with iPads and texting apps; Service Titan experience a plus.
• Class 5 driver's license with clean driving record.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues in residential homes, including leaks, clogs, and water heater malfunctions
• Install, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures such as faucets, toilets, sinks, and water heaters
• Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues
• Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining plumbing issues and recommending appropriate solutions
• Work independently or with a team to complete service calls efficiently and professionally
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools and service vehicle
• Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines while on job sites
• Install/assess drainage systems in residential and commercial applications

Earn a competitive wage of $36 - $48 per hour, depending on skill level and experience.

STABLE, FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE

You can expect to work Monday through Friday, with the potential to be added to an on-call list.

OUR IDEAL SERVICE PLUMBING TECH:

We're looking for someone who meets these qualifications:

• Journeyman Ticket or 4th Year Plumbing Apprentice
• Minimum 3 years of experience in residential plumbing service; commercial service experience is an asset
• Tech-savvy with iPads and texting apps, experience using Service Titan is an asset
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision
• Positive attitude, excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience with boiler servicing is an asset
• Experience with renovations is an asset
• Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
