Job summary

Wiehler Mechanical Ltd. in Calgary, AB is seeking an experienced Plumbing Technician for our Service Division.

You will diagnose and repair plumbing issues, install fixtures, and perform routine maintenance in a safety‑conscious, customer‑focused environment. We require a Journeyman Ticket or 4th Year Plumbing Apprentice with a minimum of 3 years of residential plumbing experience; commercial experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• Journeyman ticket or 4th-year plumbing apprenticeship.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in residential plumbing service; commercial is an asset.
• Tech-savvy with tablets/phones; Service Titan experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues in residential homes, including leaks and water heater malfunctions.
• Install, repair, and replace fixtures such as faucets, toilets, sinks, and water heaters.
• Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues.
• Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining plumbing issues and solutions.

We're Looking For Someone Who Meets These Qualifications

• Journeyman Ticket or 4th Year Plumbing Apprentice
• Minimum 3 years of experience in residential plumbing service; commercial service experience is an asset
• Tech-savvy with iPads and texting apps, experience using Service Titan is an asset
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision
• Positive attitude, excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience with boiler servicing is an asset
• Experience with renovations is an asset
• Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
• Attention to detail and a motivation to produce high-quality work
