Wiehler Mechanical Ltd. is looking for a hard‑working person to join our Service Division as a Boiler Technician. The Boiler Technician seamlessly installs technical HVAC systems and expertly navigates intricate control setups. Repair experience and skills in proactively troubleshooting complex hydronics/boilers are an asset.

Our Ideal Service Boiler Technician

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in commercial, residential, or custom home hydronics
• 4th year or Journeyperson Ticket
• Tech‑savvy with iPads and texting apps; Service Titan experience is an asset
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under minimal supervision
• Positive attitude and excellent communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable with customer‑facing service; sales experience is an asset
• Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
• Attention to detail and motivation to produce high‑quality work

Responsibilities

• Install residential and commercial hydronic/boiler systems; repair and maintenance experience is an asset (including burner tuning, cleaning, and replacing worn‑out components)
• Test and calibrate controls, safety devices, and system components
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
• Work with hydronic and steam heating systems, including pumps, expansion tanks, and piping
• Provide excellent customer service, explaining issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations
• Maintain accurate service records, including work performed, parts used and follow‑up actions
• Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines while on job sites
