We are seeking a proactive individual who thrives in team environments to join our service team. As a Service Advisor, you will have the important role of Customer Service and helping with automotive challenges while fostering a culture of cooperation and efficiency.

Location: 370 Queensway W, Simcoe ON (Volkswagen)

Compensation: Up to $75,000 per year

What You Will Be Doing:

1. Ascertain auto services by listening to customer's description of symptoms; clarifying the description of problems; conducting inspections; taking test drives; checking vehicle maintenance records; examining service schedules.
2. Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions.
3. Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labour; calculating customer's payment, including deductibles.
4. Prepare repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into service database system.
5. Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle; obtaining customer's approval of estimates; obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns; arranging towing and temporary transportation.
6. Maintain accurate records by recording problems and corrective actions planned.
7. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' publications.
8. Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Table:

1. Excellent customer service skills.
2. Minimum 1 - 2 years in a customer service role.
3. Auto experience considered an asset.
4. Valid G Drivers License.
5. Able to work flexible hours within our business hours including Saturdays.
