Role & Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer inquiries promptly, listen to vehicle concerns, and write repair orders.
  • Ensure all paperwork is accurately completed, documenting customer requests and points of concern.
  • Obtain customer signatures and vehicle data, filling in required fields on repair orders.
  • Process paperwork as jobs are completed.
  • Review repairs and changes with customers upon vehicle delivery.
  • Assist in scheduling service appointments, allowing adequate time for repairs and maintenance, and securing additional time as needed.
  • Monitor ongoing work to ensure proper execution and timely completion; notify customers of delays or additional work needed.
  • Use service files to suggest additional repairs or services.
  • Estimate costs and completion times; seek assistance from the Service Manager if needed.
  • Identify repeat repairs and assign original technicians to comeback jobs.
  • Notify customers when backordered parts arrive.
  • Verify warranty coverage and repair details.
  • Resolve customer complaints, aiming for win/win outcomes, and suggest preventative measures to reduce complaints.
  • Perform walk-around inspections noting damages like scratches or dents.
  • Arrange for transportation and manage loaner vehicles as needed.
  • Work to improve dealership CSI and customer satisfaction in line with OpenRoad's policies.
  • Maintain organized paperwork and reception area.
  • Follow safety policies and report accidents immediately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned; position duties may evolve as needed.

  • Working knowledge of automotive equipment.
  • Customer satisfaction and retention techniques.
  • Ability to maintain records and prepare reports using computerized systems.

  • Sound decision-making abilities.
  • Valid BC driver’s license with a clean record.
