Job summary

Township Chevrolet Buick GMC is seeking a motivated Service Advisor to bridge customers and our service technicians. You’ll translate technical details into clear recommendations and ensure every guest feels informed and respected.

Qualifications

  • Retail Sales or Customer Service experience with strong communication.
  • 2+ years Automotive Service Advisor experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record; High School Diploma or GED.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver an exceptional guest experience by welcoming customers professionally and documenting vehicle concerns.
  • Manage repair orders, obtain authorizations, and ensure complete, error-free documentation.
  • Communicate clearly with customers with timely updates, explanations, and accurate estimates.
  • Present service recommendations honestly to help customers make informed decisions and meet sales goals.
  • Coordinate repairs with technicians and the parts department for efficient workflow and on-time delivery.

When you're not interacting with customers or assembling repair orders, you'll be communicating with technicians, providing maintenance recommendations, monitoring repair progress, updating vehicle owners throughout the day, coordinating vehicle deliveries, and ensuring every detail is completed with absolute precision. Qualifications
  • Retail Sales, Customer Service, Restaurant, Hospitality, Insurance, or HealthcareProven Experience.
  • 2+ years Automotive ServiceAdvisor Experience Preferred
  • Strong Comfort Level With Robust Enterprise Software and Computer Systems for Business Use.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills (both in person and over the phone).
  • A Disciplined, Self-motivated Mindset With a Genuine Desire to Help People.
  • Valid Driver's License With a Clean Driving Record.

Build Customer Relationships: Complete follow-up communication, schedule future maintenance, and create loyal, repeat customers.

Stay Organized & Improve: Manage multiple priorities efficiently while participating in ongoing dealership and manufacturer training.
