We are currently hiring a Service Advisor based in our Broadmead location.

Role Overview

As a Service Advisor, you’ll be one of the first people our customers meet when seeking advice to protect their homes, travel, and ensure safety on BC’s roads. You’ll recommend memberships or travel and auto insurance to meet their needs.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Greet customers in person and over the phone, promoting BCAA insurance products and services, including memberships, travel insurance, ICBC, and auto insurance.
  • Collaborate with Support Teams and Underwriting to recommend appropriate coverage.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities supporting customers’ life events and future needs.
  • Work with team members to provide excellent customer service and meet sales goals.
  • Participate in training to increase industry knowledge and work towards becoming an Insurance Advisor, maintaining licensing and staying current with products and services.
Qualifications
  • At least two years of experience in sales and service environments.
  • Level 1 Insurance license or a commitment to obtain it within 45 days (training and costs covered by BCAA).
  • Completion of Autoplan Essentials or a commitment to complete within three months (training and costs covered by BCAA).
  • Good standing with the Insurance Council of BC, with limited Errors & Omissions history.
  • Comfort with technology, including MS Office suite.
  • Bonus: CAIB certification, knowledge of ICBC systems, additional language skills.
Additional Details

Internal application deadline: May 16, 2025. Position: Grade 5. Salary: $41,278.32 to $51,597.96, plus performance bonuses up to 21.5%. Benefits include flexible benefits, wellness dollars, retirement plans, paid time off, BCAA membership perks, and career development opportunities.
