Job summary

Pfaff Subaru in Guelph, ON is hiring a Service Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service, learn the repair process, and handle inquiries or complaints. A strong communicator with problem-solving skills will thrive in this role.

Responsibilities include scheduling service, data collection, creating work orders, invoicing, providing estimates, and communicating vehicle status while supporting the Service Manager. Growth potential exists within Pfaff Automotive Partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive field.
• 1-2 years of experience as Service Advisor is an asset.
• CDK experience.
• Aptitude for numbers.
• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driver’s abstract.

• Assists all customers (in-person and over the phone) with service requirements ensuring optimum customer service.
• Responds to customer’s inquiries in a timely and accurate manner according to the policy of the dealership.
• Schedules service appointments. Obtains customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.
• Creates/opens work orders for new customers and service; closes orders as appropriate.
• Invoices work orders and accepts payments from customers; submits reports and receipts to accounting.
• Provides quotes or estimates to customers regarding service needed.
• Advises customers of current status of their vehicle as well as any additional work that may be required.
• Performs other duties as required by the Service Manager to ensure the successful operation of the dealership.
