Job summary

Fairmont Waterfront is seeking a guest-focused hospitality professional to consistently deliver professional, friendly service in our dining venues.

You will assist Food & Beverage Servers, answer guest questions about menu items, and ensure proper setup of side stations while maintaining knowledge of beverage lists and promotions.

Qualifications

• Previous service experience an asset.
• Previous Point of Sale system experience an asset.
• Excellent Communication and Organizational skills.
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Possession of the Serving It Right Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Assist Food & Beverage Servers in all aspects of the dining experience.
• Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way.
• Ensure proper set up of all side stations in the outlet.
• Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions, menu items and preparation methods.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
• Must be available to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays.
