Legislative Assembly of British Columbia in Victoria seeks two organized, dependable Server for auxiliary as-and-when position in the Parliamentary Dining Room. You will provide food and beverage service, hosting and cashier duties while upholding fine dining standards.
Hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am–3:00pm with potential extension for special events; benefits include pension, extended health, vacation pay and career development opportunities.

Salary Range: $27.51 - $30.56 per annum/hourly + 8% vacation pay. Employees of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (Assembly) provide professional non-partisan services to support the democratic institution of Parliament and its members through procedural advice, administrative support and information services. The Assembly is an autonomous employer, separate from the administrative framework of B.C. government ministries and agencies.
The Precinct Services department is seeking two organized, dependable and service-oriented individuals for the auxiliary as-and-when position of Server.
Reporting to the General Manager, Parliamentary Dining Room (GM), the Server provides food and beverage service to guests, as well as hosting and cashier duties ensuring guests are welcomed and fine dining standards are met. As a member of the food services team, this position will also provide service in other settings within the Legislative Buildings including the Ned DeBeck Lounge, meeting rooms and Parliamentary Grab n’ Go (PGNG) Kiosk.
The Parliamentary Dining Room is open Monday through Friday 8:30am – 3:00pm.
The Server will be required to work flexible hours. Work hours can extend beyond the above-mentioned hours to provide service for special events.
