Job summary

Chartwell Retirement Residences in Oakville, Ontario is looking for a friendly Server to create warm dining experiences for residents and guests. You will take and deliver orders, assist with meal service, and help maintain a welcoming dining room.

This role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and a commitment to safety and cleanliness. Training is provided for Food Handler certification, and you will have opportunities for leadership development within our supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary school diploma or equivalent.
• Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain with training provided.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Team-oriented and organized in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Bring

• Sever experience
• Secondary school diploma or equivalent
• Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain—training provided)

Additional Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry heavy items
• Manual dexterity to handle food service equipment
• Comfortable working in a hot dining room environment
• Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
