Job summary

Chartwell Retirement Residences is seeking a friendly Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences for residents and guests. You will assist with seating, take orders, and ensure timely, courteous service in a warm, welcoming environment.

Join a team dedicated to creating memorable meals and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced setting. Training is provided for required certifications and safety procedures, with opportunities for growth within the Chartwell

What You’ll Do

• Take and deliver tableside food and beverage orders
• Provide prompt, friendly service to residents and guests
• Prepare the dining room for service and clear tables according to Chartwell standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization
• Ensure a safe and efficient dining environment
• Attend to residents' preferences and personal tastes with care and attentiveness

What You’ll Bring

• Sever experience
• Secondary school diploma or equivalent
• Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain—training provided)
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
• Enthusiasm for creating positive dining experiences
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment

Additional Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry heavy items
• Manual dexterity to handle food service equipment
• Comfortable working in a hot dining room environment
• Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
