Job summary

Uptown Grill in Guelph is seeking a Breakfast Server to join our team. We require an energetic, reliable server who shows up with a positive attitude and can work weekends and weekdays.

You will serve food and beverages, explain the menu, greet guests, and help with online/takeout orders while maintaining a clean, welcoming dining room. Smart Serve certification and POS familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of serving experience, breakfast experience is a bonus.
• Smart Serve Certification.
• Familiar with POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests.
• Explain menu items to guests.
• Clean and prepare the restaurant.
• Greet and make all guests feel welcome at the restaurant.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely fashion.
• Assist with fulfilment of online and takeout orders as required.
• Bussing and pre-bussing tables as required (Host/Busser(s) scheduled on weekends, based on business needs).
• Perform other restaurant duties as assigned.
